The Services for Young People Broxbourne Team's Stand Up Project is for young people aged 11-17 who live in the Broxbourne district of Hertfordshire and are black or of mixed heritage. It takes place every Thursday, 7-9pm, at the Waltham Cross Young People’s Centre.
This Services for Young People Stand Up Project provides a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for all local black and mixed heritage young people. You can share and discuss issues that impact you and also make your voice heard on topics that matter to you, including diversity and inequality.
You will be able to explore the challenges and issues you may be facing in your day-to-day life, as well as access information, advice and guidance from our friendly and qualified youth workers on a wide range of topics. You will also get support with planning your next steps and identifying and fulfilling your goals for the future.
