At the Services for Young People Friday Evening Project at Potters Bar Young People's Centre you have the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of activities and get support from a great team of youth support workers. Just drop in on a Friday night - no need to book.
Each week follows a theme, for example, healthy eating, drug & alcohol awareness, with the opportunity for you to achieve accreditations. You can get involved in activities such as arts & crafts, cookery, and indoor and outdoor sports.
There is also a chance for you to look at your own personal development and work with youth workers on topics such as:
- Making a difference
- Hopes and dreams
- Well being/self-esteem
- Education/work/training
- Communicating
- Choices and behaviour
Above all, the project is an opportunity for you to spend time in a positive environment and develop skills with your friends.
